KITE / AGENTIC COMMERCE / STARTUP WEEKEND
Hackathon prototypeKite
Planning purchases within spending limits.
An agent prototype that plans purchases across suppliers, checks spending limits and records its decisions.
The original 35-second pitch demonstration: Kite compares suppliers, sources a robotics basket within a spending mandate, and records the decisions. The purchasing and settlement are simulated.

01 / THE PROBLEM
The problem.
Buying the inputs for a job can involve a chain of suppliers, decisions and payments. An autonomous agent needs more than the ability to purchase: it needs clear boundaries and accountability.
02 / MY CONTRIBUTION
What I worked on.
- 01
Researched 50 companies to clarify where Kite could fit.
- 02
Developed the product story and pitch deck for an AI commerce routing concept.
- 03
Worked with the team on the demo film and finalist pitch during the 48-hour build.
03 / PROGRESS & RESULTS
Where it stands.
We reached the UQIES Weekend of Startups finals in August 2026. My contribution was product research, the pitch deck and the team’s demo film. The prototype explored spending policies and purchase planning; purchasing and settlement in the demo were simulated.
